If the Tent Is Stolen
Theft can lead to a claim on the full €400 deposit. Amounts above the deposit are handled between you and the owner under private law.
If the tent is stolen during your trip
Contact the owner and Roofwander as soon as you can. File a police report when possible and keep a copy.
Deposit
The owner can submit a deposit claim for theft. Roofwander may approve a claim for the full €400 deposit when supported by the situation and evidence.
Above the deposit
Anything above the €400 deposit is between you and the owner under the laws that apply between private individuals. Roofwander is only an intermediary and can provide proof of the rental if needed.
How to get help
Email deposit@roofwander.com (and hello@roofwander.com if you need general help) with your Order ID, what happened, and any police report or photos you have.
