Roofwander brings together rooftop-tent owners and travellers who share a love of the open road.
How did it all begin?
Roofwander’s journey began with a passion for road trips and the freedom they offer. After Sebastian invested in a rooftop tent to elevate his travel experiences, he faced challenges when trying to rent it out to offset the cost. Noticing a real gap in the market, he teamed up with friends from university: Lucas, studying entrepreneurship, and Samuel, studying statistics. Together, we developed Roofwander to make it easier for people to rent and share rooftop tents, helping more adventurers enjoy this unique way of traveling without the need to buy their own equipment.
Our mission
Our mission is to make rooftop tent travel accessible and affordable by connecting owners and adventurers through a secure peer-to-peer rental and sales platform. We aim to foster a community of explorers seeking unique travel experiences, enabling them to discover hidden gems beyond traditional tourist destinations.
