At Roofwander, we aim to make rooftop tent travel more affordable by offering a platform where owners can offset their investment by renting out their tents in a secure way, while adventurers can experience this unique travel style without the full commitment of purchasing equipment.
How did it all begin?
Roofwander’s journey began with a passion for road trips and the freedom they offer. After Sebastian invested in a rooftop tent to elevate his travel experiences, he faced challenges when trying to rent it out to offset the cost. Noticing a real gap in the market, he teamed up with friends from university: Lucas, studying entrepreneurship, and Samuel, studying statistics. Together, we developed Roofwander to make it easier for people to rent and share rooftop tents, helping more adventurers enjoy this unique way of traveling without the need to buy their own equipment.
