The owner helps you put the tent on your car. Follow their guidance for a correct, safe mount on your roof bars.
Tips at handover
- Confirm the tent is complete (cover, keys, ladder, extras listed)
- Ask the owner to show how the tent opens, closes, and locks
- Check that clamps and mounting hardware sit correctly on your bars
Take photos for the deposit
Inspect the tent with the owner at pickup and take clear photos of its condition. Photos protect both of you if there is a later deposit claim.
