Experience that will help you contribute

A software, hardware, data, or infrastructure project you built beyond coursework or a tutorial.
Experience taking a project from idea to something working without being told each step.
Comfort with development tools, APIs, debugging, or learning an unfamiliar system.
The ability to assess tool output and explain your technical choices.
